About Pokemon Card List

Pokemon Card List is an unofficial reference database for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It lists 21,256 cards in 202 English sets, with set checklists, card images, rarities, artists, and TCGplayer market prices for each finish. Use it to see every card in a set and what each one sells for on TCGplayer.

How the card list is built

Every card page is one printing: a card number in one English set, from Base Set (Jan 9, 1999) to 30th Classic Collection (Sep 16, 2026). Pokemon TCG Pocket and Japanese sets are not included. The card name, number, rarity, types, attacks, abilities and illustrator come from TCGdex; legality and Pokedex numbers are cross-checked against pokemontcg.io. Standard legality is decided from the regulation mark printed on the card, using the rotation announced on pokemon.com, because the upstream flags still call rotated cards legal.

Each finish of a card (Normal, Holofoil, Reverse Holofoil, 1st Edition, Unlimited) has its own TCGplayer market price, and 20,726 of 21,256 cards have at least one. Prices join to a card by TCGplayer product number, never by product name. If the product’s printed number does not match the card, or the only row is for a different finish, the price is dropped: no price is better than the wrong card’s price.

Card art is copied to our own image host when the list is built, never loaded from the source sites. 20,748 of 21,256 cards (97.6%) have art. A scan is rejected if it is the source’s card-back placeholder or if it repeats another card’s image in the same set, so a card with no trustworthy scan shows a plain “no image” box instead of someone else’s art.

How it is checked and updated

A scheduled build checks TCGCSV twice a day and refreshes prices when it publishes a new day. Each price is dated by that publish day, which is the date shown next to it. New sets and new card art arrive in a reviewed catalog release: data-quality checks must pass, page addresses never change once published, and an old address that moves redirects to the new one. An announced set gets a page with its date and sealed products before release (1 set now), but no cards until TCGdex lists them.

Pages with too little to show stay reachable but are kept out of search results and the sitemap: a set price list with fewer than 25 priced cards, an artist with fewer than 5 cards, a Pokemon with fewer than 3 cards.

Unofficial fan project

Pokemon Card List is an unofficial Pokemon TCG reference site. Card names, card images, card text, set names, Pokemon names, and related trademarks are property of their respective owners. This site is not produced by, endorsed by, supported by, or affiliated with The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak, or Creatures.

Where the data comes from

Card and set data come from the open TCGdex database and pokemontcg.io; prices are TCGplayer market prices via TCGCSV. Full attribution and update details are on the sources page. Every price names its finish, and none of them is an appraisal.
