Pokemon card binders: pages needed for every set

A 9-pocket binder page holds 9 cards, so a set needs its card count divided by 9, rounded up. This table does that for all 201 sets in our data. The newest, 30th Celebration, has 128 official cards (15 pages) and 158 cards with its secret rares (18 pages). The largest is SWSH Black Star Promos at 307 cards, which fills 35 pages. One copy of every card in every set would need 2,460 pages.

Each set has two counts. Official is the number printed after the slash on the cards (the 88 in 001/088). With secret rares adds the cards numbered past it, so it is the count to plan for if you want every card. Promo sets and some special sets print no total, so only the second count is shown. Pages are counted one card per pocket, one side; if you load both sides of each page, you need half as many, rounded up. The count is one copy of each card, not each finish: add pages for Reverse Holofoil copies if you want them.
